    185s aluminum rims

I would like to put aluminum wheels on my 83 185s and was wondering what bolt pattern and offset the factory wheels are. Also what rim size has more tire options?

Are they 3 stud? I just bought 8x8 with zero offset for my 90/110 and fitted 4snow tires, they work awesome for sand etc and where perfect size.

If you don't feel like tracking down wheels to fit the odd 185 pattern, 450r, 300ex, 400ex and i think a couple more hubs will bolt right on the back. Gives it a bit more offset too, and then you'll be in the 4/110 pattern. I know the 450r hubs fit for sure I got em on mine.

I beilieve the 83 is 4 bolt. Research shows they might be 4x130 like the suzuki LT230s quadsport. The front will be harder to find tho.

Yea the 83 185s should have a 4x 130 bolt pattern wheels for the rear should be easy however finding a front wheel with no offset is next to impossible. 8 inch wheels have plenty of options but 9 inch I think has more however I do not think you can put a 9 inch wheel on the front of a 185s as it might hit the fender.

    This is the solution rightchere

Here's a link to Mudthrowers.com wheel application. Three wheelers front bolt patterns are not listed.

I got a set of 86' suzuki quadrunner aluminum rear rims for pretty cheap.

As far as the front goes I am still looking for one. I can get a douglas 8x8" 0' offset with a 4x110 bolt pattern. Is there any way to swap in a 110mm front hub on a 185s? Or get this rim redrilled to a 130mm pattern.

Or perhaps get an 8x8" wheel with 5+3" offset and use a 1" spacer?

Well the old ITP rims came in and they are 8x8 4/130mm with center 4+4 offset so I can actually use both of them for a front wheel on my two 185s/200s. I had already ordered a douglas blue label front rim and had it re-drilled to 4/130mm tho.
