I ran one at trikefest this year. It worked but like most others, it Boggs if you punch the throttle. After a month it would not idle well either.

    Wow, never seen that.

I personally try to buy OEM carbs and just rebuild them.

If it's not made in Japan, I don't trust it; If the feedback is 60-70% good, I'll clean it and get jets in a new distributor.

1 guy on EBAY has 10 packs for either main, slow or pilot and I use them often with seemingly good results

Remember, just one instrument/drill/pin you use to clean them can destroy the jet itself. It stinks... Suddco has it all but you need a 25$ minimum order, that's where I bought the "Hondaster" carburetor that I'm slowly putting it back together.

I have a set of reamers in 64ths of an inch, straight flute, and which I use for jetting.

Trust me, I'm just as much AMAZED that these small burrs, (from drilling or cleaning), we do ourselves affect the jet; But, they really do.....!!

Do you have a link to that carb if you bought off eBay? When I read the title to thread I thought you might be referring to another style carb I saw recommended few months back.
