    Intake search

I put a Chinese PZ30 carb on my 200 build, and have gotten it close enough to ride reliably. I'm gonna be putting a new dg exhaust on pretty soon and would like to find an intake manifold that matched it up a little better before I jet it. It currently has the original 185s intake on it. The PZ30 has a 30mm ID outlet on it. Does anybody know if say a XR200 intake is any closer to 30mm? How big is a 200x intake as far as Inner Diameter goes?

A little history on the motor:

I'm not sure if the 200x intake is bigger, I think it's just a little bit bigger than the 185/200 auto intakes. XR 200 intakes are definitely bigger, about 28 or 29 mm I'd.

http://m.ebay.com/itm/30MM-STRAIGHT-...-/302178616636 I used this one for my 200x. The carb will line up with the air box boot, but the pz30 carb will not fit my boot. I would have to go with the pz27 carb or stock 200x carb. I am not sure if this will work for your application. I hope this helped.

Thanks that actually helps alot didn't realize they had all those different manifolds on ebay. Also, X-rider, that boot will fit the pz30. I didn't think it would either. Put the boot in boiling water for a couple minutes and then quickly get it to the carb. The water loosens up the rubber and lets it stretch over the carb flange. Now getting it off the carb is a different story haha.
