Dang things have gone up in price since I got mine 3 years ago. I got mine for 80.00. My only complaint is that the platform doesn't have room for 2 tanks. At least not yet.....

    Are you a gypsy?
I have this and it stores my little pretend TIG machine at the bottom just fine, but like yours it only has room for one tank. As I was working upstairs on this project I didn’t want to bother dragging the whole cart up, the welder and tank or enough of a pita.

Unfortunately havent done much more since that picture. I think we are on our 3rd 'nor easter' I have around 18" of snow in the yard. Tried to move the manlift the other day.. drove about a foot before spinning. Once the snow is gone, I'll have to wait for the ground to dry out so it doesn't get stuck in the yard. Otherwise can't wait to finish it.

Since I haven't done much with the barn, this was my little winter project. Hopefully recoup some of the barn money when it sells. Bought a trailer and 350x over the winter as well.

    Nice! I need a bobcat and a 350!

Cut new dozer axles and relief cuts, old ones are closer in pic. Someone built up with weld and appears to have used a bench grinder to turn(many flat spots)

Pressed in the new oilite bushing that I bored, turned and cut a spiral helix in

I spent all day working on my 2 new Maytag washing machine engines. Got spark, got fuel into the motor, got it to fire off eventually. The old sparkplug won't produce enough spark under load. Couldn't find a new one in town today. Hopefully I'll post up some pics if it running tomorrow afterwork!

You mean like a gas powered engine for a washing machine?.......that should be interesting!

Synced some carbs today. It idles so much nicer.......and better throttle response.

Well, starting this past thursday i’ve changed out the oil in my vac pump which was not doing its job. Its been a year and was most likely ready to be changed out 6 months ago. Yup i’m an idiot, but anyway i dont think they’ll be a shortage of 86/87 200x tank cushions for a while anyway.(what u see is from this wk end)
Made a few 83/84 250r airbox grommets also, (extra mix went into that mold)
All the rubber parts you see in the pics are great i just had “one” flaw(air bubble) piece out of all of it.
Learned my lesson on changing out vac oil bigtime...

I am sooo ready for spring. This northeast weather has goto go, the lake ice was gone but is now starting to come back.
I have to get back to the headlight shells but i was just sick of looking at them (needed a break)
My cat has become fond of this one shell she sleeps against it everyday and if you try to grab it good luck! Its hers

Haven’t seen any until today. Went up the stairs/ opened the door and theres a squirrel staring back at me.
Tell ya though there’s nothing more scary than opening up a wall to find a huge bee’s nest/ thankfully the one’s that were here were long dead.

Only thing i’ve found so far in the walls is a penny from 1937 worth about 35cents- lots of old newspapers too but crumble when unfolded

That's some nasty stuff to pull down man, hope you're wearing a mask. When you step back and ponder how much time it must have took to do a wall back then, it's easy to see how drywall became the standard.

Found two baseball cards doing that same work once, but both were so worn I couldn't even make out a name.

I couldn’t imagine nailing up all the furring strips no way, must have had cheap labor back then. The horse hair plaster too, no thanks - it was up to 1” thick in some places. Yes i was wearing a dust mask $35 lowes special but it seemed to work well. Also had one of those painters one piece white suits on. The worst part was the old flooring, its 1940’s aspestos glue dowm 12x12’s
Not touching the floor except to cover it with 3/8 plywood. I actually asked the homeowners to seal it with a epoxy primer before i started to seal in any particles, and they did i wouldnt have taken on the work otherwise.
Then theres the old (knoben tubing)sp old elec wires that cause fires just looking at them the wrong way....
The electrician is there now taking care of it.
Really cant wait to be done at this job! But its paying nicely by the hour so i cant complain i guess.

Yeah banging nails into oak studs no less.

They might not be oak but I'll bet they are. Nothing snaps a head off a drywall screw faster than an 80 yr old oak stud either
