What are you doing today? Thread

Bored out of my skull sitting at the registry (DMV) waiting to register the 650 for the road again. Massachusetts is notorious for ridiculous wait times at the registry, I could be here for hours. The Commonwealth spent big money recently to "revamp" the system here and speed up registry transactions. It didn't work.

I'm no mathematical genius, but when the registry has 14 windows but only 7 or 8 staffed, I can guess where the back up may be occurring. Not to mention registry workers are known to move at their own pace.

They just called R22 and I have ticket number R35. Oh joy.

Shep, if were 2000 miles closer I'd come get it to fix it up. That thing is neat!

What am I doing today, hoping the foot of snow we still have starts melting soon. At this rate I won't put away the shovel between now and and the first snows in October.

Advertise that on Mytractorforum. You would be surprised what people will pay for old garden tractor stuff.

It really is Friday the 13th.

Van engine (4.3) was running a little ruff so I scanned it and 0174 (too lean) came up. I just had the cat and one O2 sensor replaced.

What got me was the oil..........milky. None of this is good.

Found someone who wanted my bike for a rokon

Bit older than me, mid 50’s. I told him it was a beast to kick and friggin fast, not a trail bike.
He took it for a 2 min ride and came back a bit apprehensive/scared. “It looks like I will have to build up to riding that!”
Im not sure if it is gearing, sprocket or maybe a rebore at the time of rebuild but sheesh it scoots. He has 3 other 4 stroke bikes and 2 motorcycles. He wants to ride it in woods. Anyway, great guy, nice rokon. Came with a new pair of unmounted bighorn tires, bags, original tools and he threw in a machete that he had tied to the bike.

I always pictured rokons as two wheeled tractors for dragging small logs out of rough terrain in the woods or hauling chainsaws and gas cans into tight spots.

As a kid I remember my grandpa looking at one in the back of Popular Mechanics magazine and thinking a CR125 would be alot more fun for me to ride than that.

That's exactly what I've always called them, two wheeled tractors.
