Nice rokon! I had one when I was about 18, similar age as yours, 2 cycle. Awesome machines for the wilderness, and they float! They have a cult following, and are still made today.

What got me was the oil..........milky. None of this is good.

    That's gorgeous.

Looks like it took a week and a half. I'll bet you got compound all over your face and clothing and tiny shredded white strings from the buffer wheels all over the place

SOOOO many nooks and crannies in that cover....what a PIA!

Your spot on with the string and black mess part.

I left the clutch cover for last as I knew it was going to be the hardest part. It was so rough that I gave up after starting with 320 grit and dropped down to 280 after a few hours. Literally had to remove over .020" off the entire thing plus scars. Started in early February and I'm sure I have over 40 hours in the three pieces. Only about 2 hours of electric buffer time into it, the rest was all by wet hand from 280 to 2000

I’m guessing early 70’s maybe, it’s a gravely w/plow and jockey seat thingy.
Its free to anyone that wants it just bring a truck.
Or any advice what to do with it? Maybe a scrap guy? Attachment 251605

Thanks tripledog, my problem is posting it somewhere public then have just anybody use it as an excuse to snoop around the yard, kinda like the garage sale thread. I’d put it down by the street marked free but it’s all yuppies in this area, I’d probably get charged for littering or something. Kids wanted to use the sulky (not going to happen) to pull behind a machine(bike) but it’d snap your ankles off if you fell forward.
So not sure what I’m going to do yet, may just put an add at the local tractor supply store with like a cheap delivery fee.

Im very surprised this thread is still going
Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Calling an illegal alien an undocumented immigrant is the same as calling a drug dealer an unlicensed pharmacist.
