I may consider giving that a try. Here in Iowa we have the same problem with road salt. Do you have a lift, or is that something you lay on the shop floor and do? A lift would be ideal.

not permanent, for new England salt, I replace it yearly. For indoor rust busting or loosening I prefer boshield. Outdoors, the boshield washes off too quick to make it through a season. fluidfilm has a heavy wax/lanolin content that keeps it soft/around a while. good stuff. I haven't found anything better as of yet. (it beats motor oil and a dirt road by far!)
