I just googled your town and it looks nice.......cold but nice. When my son gets his adventure bike we may have to get up there just for fun.

    Summer of course haha!
Regular dip around this time of year...probably no different than the northern states are seeing too. It's a wide ranging polar vortex or something like that; Greta should come visit now!
I don't think our so town has ever been called "nice", lol. It's convenient in that you can ride an atv or sled around the streets as long as you follow some basic rules........ and I don't get arrested for carrying a rifle in the open to my truck during hunting season. But we're 3.5 hours from an international airport and good shopping which is inconvenient at times. You're more than welcome to come up this way anytime!

Working too late in the shop and literally forgetting that locking pliers exist.

I was using some pliers to hold something together with one hand, and holding a bolt in while simultaneously trying to thread the nut on with the other. I actually got up to find a small C clamp and looked in my box. Upon seeing the locking pliers, I knew it was time to put up the tools and call it a day (night).

The project is done though and that was the point, so I wouldn't have to dick with it tomorrow.

Barnett468 is selling a used DG pipe and silencer for a 85-86 250R on Ebay..... $400

I like period performance items....not so much new re-pop stuff......but it's still good to have as an option.

I wonder how the old coot is doing

Finished getting the intake and headers back on my truck last night.

It took a little longer because I needed to clearance the transmission crossmember so one header reducer wouldn't be rubbing on it anymore. It's been like that since I put these headers on years ago and I just now got around too it.

Having the headers ceramic coated kind of gave me the energy I needed to finally do it. Anyone who's put headers on a few vehicles knows not to have anything finalized before they've been fully installed, because there's a good chance some tubes will have to be ed on.

One reducer has been rubbing for a while.

I grabbed some scrap that had been on the bench for years, just to get thrown into the game today.

It's been rainy and cold the past few days, but today was just cold, so I got a 14 mile bike ride in.

There wasn't a whole lot of big truck traffic, which was nice because the roads have been salted and every time one passed, I got a little in my mouth. It's kind of hard to keep the mouth shut when pedaling up a steep hill.

I am trying to stay on the road and keep warm. Got a bunch of freezing rain which translated to 1/4" of ice covering everything. Finally was able to make it in to work Wednesday...only put the pickup in the ditch once but I made it....I'll call that a win. Highways were taken care of quick but backroads still suck. I drive a 2wd 1st gen Tacoma...loaded up some sandbags and junk in the bed, and any time I left the highway on backroads I had to chain up.

They are calling for a foot of snow here and -25°C (-13°F) temps Monday. I guess it's not apopular opinion but I enjoy some good cold winter weather. Starting to feel like home....drug out a parts 3 wheeler with a rusted frame and got it running. At least we'll have some fun with this weather.

Today i had a valentine's day 350x fire sale. That ledt me a few bucks profit, some tools and a corona single. I dislike not having cash on hand at all times for anything.

That's aloner story for another post.

    Work work work
    And work all weekend

The electric grid is nuts right now. Those of you in the midwest from Canadian border down to the Mexican border......don't be surprised if your electricity is out......may already be.

It's most likely getting replace with something else, when the BW is going again. Too flat of a tread profile and I don't like how it makes the BW handle. It' actually bad in the mud too, because it just floats on top and won't bite in.
