About to dive into this frozen Pizza that i love for $2.99 and noticed it was from Canada. Looked at the box and it said Montreal. I'm not 30 miles from the Mexican border and this pizza came all the way of 2909 miles to get in my belly...wow.....that's some distance. If it didn't say "product of Canada" I would figure they have an operation nearby.
Oh well..... bon appetit!

Enjoyed playing with some classic iron dogs this winter since we had some good snow for a change. Put a few back up in the rack for storage.![]()
Wow! Lots of memories on those shelves!!!!!!
Is that a Massey Ferguson near the upper right corner and rear of Merc in the center? I think I see the back of a late 60 Moto-Ski between JD Trail Fire and an Allouette (or is that a Ski-Roll?) I feel like I'm 10 years old when I look at those!!!
It sucks to get old
Little building pad action today. No good dirt near so I built it out of recycled concrete. Almost 3' of fill. Footings on monday.
I ate about a pound of mashed potatoes and gravy, then took a 14 mile bicycle ride. It wasn't my best idea today, and now I'm trying to fix it with beer.![]()
The story of three wheels and a man...
I bet you remember a lot of different brands growing up
Allouette sno brute is on top right with the checkered flags snow flap. That is a sno pony with a 340 JLO twin to the left of that.
"Rosie" is a 69 capri with a 372 hirth single next to the trailfire
No Massey or Mercs currently, but there is a scorpion sting next to the Moto-ski
I love vintage sleds! I had a 1970 Ski-Doo Nordic 399. One of my buddies had a 76 Moto-Ski Nuvic 340 which was an excellent sled, and another had a Ski-Roule with a Sachs engine. We never got that one going but it was Ski-Roule's hot sled for that year. I loved how it looked.
85 Tri-Zinger 60
85 ATC250SX
86 ATC250SX
87 ATC250SX
02 XR650L conversion
84 ATC 480R
Looking in the lower left corner to the right of the trike I see a chrome bumper below the cover, is that a Moto-Ski? Looks like the bumper of an early 70’ Zephyr, or GP.
Fabio mentioned a 76 Moto-Ski. I’m trying to recall exactly what year, but at some point by then they were rebranded Bombardiers. The herd was thinning by then, I believe Rupp and Allouette were done around then, but there were still more brands than I can remember with all kinds of weird features. There was one sled in particular (I think it was a Johnson) that a buddy had with twin engine in which both cylinders fired at the same time. The thing could pull stumps.

^I still love the classic look of the yellow, round nosed ski-doo (Olympique?). It seems to be the one that makes it on any old time drawing from the 60's that involves a sled. And to think I live where there's 5 months of snow I have never owned a sled! I've toyed with the idea of getting a workhorse vintage sled to pull an ice fishing shack onto the lake (I live 200' from shore) but it's just another thing to fix and store in the off season.

Nico Good eye! that is a 70 MS18 next to the 250SX and 70. It is one of the nicer machines I have bought to date and it has a JLO 372 single.
I had a couple evinrude skeeters we nicknamed ol thumper that has the opposed twin cylinder, kinda ugly machines to me, but many had reverse so that was a big plus.
The sled you thought was a Merc is an 1974 Arctic Cat El Tigre, directly below that is a 75 eltigre 440, both have the quad plug Kawasaki engines. The free airs go fast, but seems people can melt them down fairly easy.
This year I started to sell off a few that I won't ever get to or lost interest in, got rid of a 73 JD400, 72 Cheetah, 72 Chaparral Thunderbird, and tomorrow meeting a guy from Maine in Lowell Mass to sell a 71 Capri with a Hirth 338.
Still hoping a couple more will sell this spring like a 70 Sno jet, 70 panther EXT and a 71 big mouth panther chassis that should have a 634 Hirth.
Will still have 30+ sleds, next winter hopefully another 4-5 go as well, more projects then I can ever get to...
