LOL! That’s one way to look at it. Truth is I pushed her to retire about 13 years ago. Teaching soiled little s***s at a private school had her coming home in tears more often than not. Kids stopped fearing teachers a long time ago, now it’s the other way around... and they’ve reached voting age.

Ditch digging pays me very well. Sewer repairs are a pricey project for the most part, and the unfortunate part is, the customer is usually bent over the barrel. I did a whole new tap for a guy in a town 50 miles away, no contactor would touch it. We had it done in 3 days, tapping the main was the worst part, main was over 20' deep. Took a the first day just to get down to it, boxes in and core drilled the main. I kind of dislike the place I work at as nothing is properly maintained or repaired, but I love my line of work

That Nordic picture is from about 1993 Jim lol. It's long gone now. I remember my dad taking myself and and probably 3 or 4 of my friends in the ol 1984 (first year) 5 speed Dodge Caravan and the trailer to a guy I found in "The Want Advertiser" to pick the ol girl up. She had been in the woods for years at that point!

The Johnson is in Massachusetts, yes. In Bridgewater. That's Barry's machine.

Got the catio up and running today. I still have to make a panel for the cat door that will go in the window.

I got stuff to do an annual tune-up/fluid change on the Harley. First time I've been in a Harley shop this year, and probably won't go back again until next year. I run the Harley bran oils in it, because that's all it's ever had and I'm going to keep with it. 100,000+ miles and still runs like a top.

I did shoot the breeze with one of the sales people for a while. There's been a lot of changes on the bikes that I haven't kept up with. They've got a CVO bagger with tubeless spooked wheels, and the front is a 21". It looked pretty nice. The wheels themselves are really cool looking. Definitely a departure from the standard cast/forged, one piece types.

The big buzz right now is the Pan America adventure bike they've built. That shop has already sold one or two of them before they've even been hit any sales floors.

On my 09 Electra Glide I only ran Walmarts Supertech oil..... (remember .78 cents a quart?).....even in the primary... and sold it to a gentleman in Canada when it had 103,000 miles and it's still going.

On my new one its Bel-Ray primary and trans fluid but for the motor oil it's still 4.5 quarts of Supertech

I was using Supertech back in the last century, when it was called Tech200.

There's some running around in my pickup engine right now. Do you know who actually makes if for Walmart now? It used to be a little easier to find out the origin of it, but the last container I bought didn't have any manufacturer marks that I noticed.

There were quarts of Supertech 10-30 conventional in the clearance section a couple days ago. $1.50 each. Some of the synthetic too for $9 or so a gallon. Maybe they're getting ready to change the name again...Tech3000? Or, getting funky pop culture with it and naming it Master Super Tech 3000 (MST3K for short).

160' of curb face walk demo and replaced in 3 days with me and another "kid" plus some add on curb replacement from snow plow damage. Little concrete patch tomorrow from a water line repair I did a couple weeks ago, then I think I'm pulling a 3 day weekend!

I got a 70 mile bicycle ride in. It was a fully supported charity ride, so they had multiple rest stops with snacks and drinks, and a sag wagon.

We got rained on a little bit and a short burst of hail, but the weather finally cleared up near the end of it. A good day in all, and a pretty good turn out. The ham samich lunch at the end was darn good, and the beer I had after getting home was even better.

Realizing failure is an option. Messed with my 350x with 300ex motor to realize chain alignment is off. Another laser cut job for my amish shop. I've heard of this swap done over and over but no documentation. A good bit of I don't remembers and multiple wrong internet posts by people on various sites. The amount of wrong information posted in tbe last 20 years is very funny.

Not by this site much however.

    Yes a trx250x / 300ex motor bolts in a 350x frame.

No the chain does not line up using a full oem 350x rear end

Deeper specs in my manifesto build thread.

I'm documenting it to post it a tell all one day.

Thanks for all of this. I'm going to grab the 300EX near me and just stick it back until I find a suitable donor trike. I never thought about owning a 350X, or any trike with rear suspension for that matter, but with the option to have a sport trike with electric start and reverse is hard to pass up.
