Started my 250R build for the first time.

Needs carb fine tune but runs fantastic.

    Started on the second kick.

My son worked all summer 40+hrs a wk and cut grass on saturdays to buy this truck a couple wks ago. Finally got the title on Friday so we’re off to the registry on Monday (yay).....
Best part is he bought it himself and hopefully will show it respect (take care of it)
    2004 Toyota Tacoma 4x4
He wanted a standard (clutch) good so none of his friends can drive it.
140,000 miles / new timing belt, water pump, clutch- new frame last yr due to the Toyota callback thing
    Drives great
Won’t be road legal until Monday/ and he’s already adding accessories

Put the old girl to work today knocking down brush and exploring the area. Hadn’t even started her since TF 2016. Pilot jet was totally plugged, but only one tire needed air.

After approximately 2 ½ years later from my original post #20 in this thread got my replacement metal tank painted an installed. Old school at it’s best.

Purchased off ebay from seller "CityofCollectables" store, made and shipped from Hong Kong. Has many models available, Ken Tam was a good guy to work with. Didn't have front rubber guide mounts welded in place or the gas valve bung (adapter) installed which allowed me to place where I needed them for clearance.

Dropped the 250R frame off at the powdercoaters, and got home to find a pair of radiators waiting for me on the doorstep.

I forgot to take a selfie waving goodbye to the frame at the powder coaters..... hahaha

And these are my $30 radiators. I'm going to try stripping and repainting them myself.

Resurrecting old CB750s must be in the air down here

Pulled mine out of mothballs only to find I've let this thing go to far down.

Pretty stoked for the sun to come up, today! Just going to pull my brothers car out of a cocoon of empty boxes. It’s been at my folks place under cover for 33 years. Dads ready to let it go. Really wondering how it has persevered.

    What did I do today....

    - Got up way too early
    - Scooped up my dog and went to hack vines off fruit trees
    - Found a wasp nest the hard way
    - Got stung at least 10 times
    - Went to a clinic and let a nice man stick a sharp object in my butt
    - Bought a used truck
    - Rebuilt another shock (second one is easy)
    - Delivered the shocks for a gas charge
    - Figured our why my beer fridge isn’t cold
    - Build a T-Post Puller, ran out of wire and had to TIG it, starting to enjoy that little machine
    - Cleaned the shop while listening to a hockey game
    - Going to watch Netflix and pass-out

Just messin’ around w/plastic. Just passing along the pics I figure it’s a little slow around here so why not.
I always wanted to try clear/ well ok it’s not totally clear but it’s as close as this particular mix can get.
Loading pics then heading to Walmart w/wife.........oh what fun.
