Unfortunately it was windy and humid and around 55 degrees so I had heat the paint up then use my blow dryer to dry and warm the area then pray it wouldn't splatter or fish eye all over.

Here's what it looks like when it finished.

Looks nice you used car salesman.

Now get me a police bike that's not beat to crap would ya?

Pulled the “Twin” out today, put a headlight on it, a desert tank, high altitude jets and long range gears. Got a buddy coming down from Canada in April for a week. First the Moto GP in Austin, then a multi day ride in Mexico.

Got to make sure everything is tickity boo, don’t want this trip to become a spoof called “Broke Bike Mountain”

You mean like this beautiful example of a 2009 ST1300PAA that I just sold last week for the paltry sum of $3200.00?

$^%#$@$^!!, everything is expensive in this f'n State. How about $120.00 a month for water in a house with 2 people that use it mainly for 1 short shower every day, the toilet, and washing just a couple of dishes. And if you use over a certain amount, which is set ludicrously low, they add a huge surcharge on top of the regular amount they charge per unit, then they send you a threatening letter for using too much water. My garden hose had a tiny leak last month and I used to leave it on all the time and our bill was $260.00 f'n dollars.

As far as car insurance goes, I just have the minimum that is required, because I couldn't possibly afford full coverage on all the vehicles I have.

The worst is the f'n exorbitant DMV fees here. They pass laws that are basically illegal just to squeeze more money out of people. If you buy a car here, you better first make sure it is currently registered or has a "Planned Non Operation" certificate, and then take a lubricant with massive amounts of ZDDP along with you to the DMV to try and minimize the pain of getting raped. Oh, and if you call a DMV service to find out what the fees are for a particular vehicle, take extra money with you when you actually go there to register it cuz the fees will likely go up before you get to there.

Thinking about the CHIP's tv show, it reminds me of the World Champion speedway rider Bruce Penhall. He and some of his speedway rider friends went to a night time motocross race that I raced at every week back in the 70's, and the race promoter, whom was my girlfriend, let them ride in their own separate race. He was used to getting push started on his 4 stroke, so he he loaded up his borrowed 2 stroke bike on the starting line so I changed the plug for him and helped him get it going. Watching the race was pretty funny because it appeared that they really couldn't ride a dirt bike very well, and not a single one of them could turn right worth a damn.

He also tried hitting up pretty hard on a girlfriend I had when she went into a place he happened to be at, but he didn't know she had a boyfriend at the time, not that that would have deterred him at all. She actually though it was pretty funny, but from my little experience with him, he seemed like a nice person overall, unlike some other people that have stupidly rich parents that give their kids anything they want.

Well, actually, ZDDP is now being replaced with ZDDB (boron instead of phosphorous although they still call it ZDDP for some reason) by some oil mfg's in an attempt to possibly reduce contamination of catalytic converters from the high levels of phosphorous in ZDDP.

    ZDDP vs "ZDDB"

I've been entertaining this idea a lot lately. For me all my family is here so that makes it hard.

But Nevada is not the bargin it use to be. Too many wacko jabronis from Califas have moved to Vegas...taking thier kooky ideas with them. It use to be that "kinda western" state...not even 15 to 20 years ago but you wait....soon open carry will be a felony and straws and plastic bags will be banned.....just like mama cali does.

I always wanted to live in California since I was a little kid. I had originally planned to attend college out there if possible, but the in-state resident tuition discount to attend Purdue was too much to pass up by moving away to Cali.

By the mid-late nineties, it looked like the place was coming off the rails from my conservative Midwestern vantage point, so I quietly retired that dream.

It's sad because I still think California has SO much to offer it's residents but the PC culture, high cost of living, and dynastic liberal political dominance just turns me off.

My RECC (Redneck Electric Community Cooperative) power bill is $135 this month. It averages $90/mo in the spring and fall. It's been as low as $74..... My water bill averages $17/mo, $25/mo in the summer when my wife is constantly watering the gardens.

Our Tennessee neighbors love to come up to Bowling Green to shop and save 4% in sales tax.

I tried the east (cocoa Beach) and West coast (St Pete/ Clearwater) of Florida and it didn't take long to get on my nerves. It was still better than Indiana but there were no jobs there in the early nineties compared to home, so I went back both times
