Yeah, the same guy put up the grab bar the next night. I'm currently trying to build up the courage to submit an offer, lol.

I think I blew another header gasket, or the rusty headers gave way coming up a hill at WOT in my F150. It was running so good today too.

I just parked it when I got home and walked away; didn't even want to look at it.

This is more of a 'what I'm doing tomorrow' post.

I'm running six into two headers on the 300 six. Just an issue with headers on an inline. These headers aren't particularly well fitting, so that's the major part of it. I'm not sure of the brand, because I haven't seen another set with similar primary bends, and I can remove the starter with them in place. Most other brands make getting the starter off nearly impossible without loosening things up.

I'm kicking around replacing them with the dual EFI cast manifolds. Less heat, less noise, longer lasting, and better sealing.

Power Nation recently done a N/A 300 build, getting 300ft/lb of torque, with a nearly stock engine except bolt on parts and a cam. They done a turbo Chevy 292, getting over 500ft/lb. There's an insane Turbo Jeep inline build, with more than 800 horsepower.

My favorite year of dent side Fords. S/B, L/B or Step Side, factory four or auto? You gotta appreciate a I-6 build over a V-8 just for the uniqueness of it.

    ^ Borg Warner T-18.

Years ago when I was looking for a older pickup to drive, I wanted a Chevrolet, but couldn't find one at the time with an inline and a manual. This one has the dual tanks too, so that pretty much put me behind the wheel.

I bought one of these model trucks and keep it in the cab.

Wrong color, but has the same factory Ford camper shell as mine. The model even has the compass rose painted on the front sides of the shell like the actual ones (which are emblems).

Someone has to like an I-6 to build it up, because it's not going to be cheap to do like with a modern V8. The I-6 was much more popular in places like South America. Brazil even got a fuel injected Chevy 250. There are some Argentinians with wicked crossflow head models. The Australians also modified and raced them extensively, and there was a Ford 200 crossflow head that came from there and made big power.

70's and 90's rigs tickle my fancy. I'm truckless now but always on the prowl. They've gotten pricy though....especially in good shape

Edit...pic of my last truck. It was gutless but a blast to drive til the front end messed up in an accident

Working up the 222 at 100

From prior, I saw 23.5g of h322 was best, working up In 0.5g increments.

    I then narrowed from 0.5 to 0.1 grains 23.3-23.7

All done on Dillon 550 progressive

    First the toy

Starting bottom left and going ccw it was 23.7 then .6 at 7oclock then .5 at 9, .4 at 3 and center was 23.3

I did not have a micrometer with me but it appears that the groups steadily got bigger moving down from 23.7 /23.6
I will have to measure but they appear pretty equal. I also may have to go up 0.1 until groups open up again(seen at around 24.0 last time)

    23.6
I added a spent 22 Long rifle cartridge for some reference, of course this is slightly an optical illusion making the group size appear slightly smaller but nevertheless still pretty good groups for 100 yards/5 shot groups

    23.7

    Now
To do it all again and see if I get similar results along w reverse order for barrel temperature

I've driven this thing across much of the country and even lived in it for months on end. Many a Walmart parking lots have I slept in. Visit my profile and you'll see it in front of the Wild Turkey distillery.

If you noticed, there's no review mirror. It fell off years ago and since I'm a past 18-wheeler driver, I just left it off. Better views from the windshield.

Oh, here it is in front of a country singer's childhood home in Arkansas. It also shows the most expensive bottle of Evan Williams I've ever bought.

I have this sick feeling in my stomach that somebody is going to post up a link where I could’ve bought these and I’m going to feel really stupid, but I couldn’t find them on line in 12” lengths.
