carburator is all rebuilt and cleaned up!
took the skid plate off and unbolted the rear swing arm. right rear hub is welded to axle, rear carrier bearings are smoked as is the swing arm bearings. sprocket is bent. 1 bent swingarm/chain adjuster and 1 that was completely broken.. pretty much the best way to sum it all up is that the trike would rock side to side just on play in the swingarm... time to order another list of parts for the rear suspension. will be doing more sandblasting and prep work for powder coating.

recap: body work on tank is done. front forks are removed from frame. rear swingarm is completely disassembled (the rear bearings were some of the worst I have seen) also I'm going to need a new/used axle as mine has damage.. also going to need a set of rear wheels. more parts have arrived including my clymer manual. first batch of parts have been dropped off at the powdercoaters. with all of this stated I also ran the VIN and found out that this is in fact a 1985 in what I was originally under the impression of 1984 not that it matters to my understanding 83-85 are the same. if anyone has an axle for sale that is compatible I would be interested i will also be checking ebay. lastly if someone could answer what axles will fit and what different hubs would work! sorry for the long post!

The rear rims are the easiest part. You can use 250r, 350x, 300ex, 400ex, 450r, or there's many aftermarket choices. The bolt pattern is 4x110mm. If you want better handling, you can use 9" diameter rims instead of the stock 8". There's less sidewall flex in the tires.
work has been hectic as the weather won't let up but I did get my first box of parts back from the powdercoaters and ordered a few harder to find items that popped up on eBay. also been organizing all my bolts into ziplock bags with labels. will post up pictures this week!

Great but I don't think that you'll be able to use many of the LT parts on your 200x! lol
lol no they wont... well I got this for a good deal and just need to swap the good top end to the good bottom end put a seat cover and a rear caliper on and toss it up for sale to make a tidy profit for more 200x parts! still some big purchases ahead like the plastics.. wheels and tires and if the motor has any suprises!

quick update fixed and sold the suzuki and will be tearing back into the Honda! I have purchased wheels but need to purchase tires and a few small things here and there to get it back to a roller after the frame either gets painted or powdercoated.
