Tricked out Nicholson frame big bore 250R

    https://visalia.craigslist.org/snw/6050782142.html

Just randomly stumbled across this. I'm not as into trikes as I used to be but this looks so damn cool. Seems like a good price for how rare it is. Here is the write up:

Selling the trickest atc 250r around

Has a very rare gusseted Nicholson frame

    A works rear shock

    Chrome plated everything

    85 front end polished

    The engine is trick
Has a built bottom end fresh
With a Yamaha 360 cylinder on it
    Ported and fresh piston

Built Mikuni carb highly modded runs on methanol with a vacuum power jet

Custom aluminum intake manifold very trick

Clutch is modified with deeper basket and extra clutch plates and stiffer springs to hold the power
Clutch cover is aluminum extended and built to house the extra clutch plates

    New k@n air filter

    Runs very strong

    Starts first kick

    Always serviced

Beadlock rims and holes got tires
Also have paddles mounted on rims

    Chromed plus 2 swing arm

    Very dune able still

Or slam and drag people's banshees

That is a nice 250r. But Cylinder is not a Yamaha 360 its either 300r cylinder or could be 360 Mugen. Frontend is not 85 250r its 83-84 250r

Not a Mugen 360, no engine mount on the head and fins are too tall.
Keep on Triking!!!! "I am the NIGHT RIDER!!!"

As others have stated, it's an 81 or 82 frame with aftermarket swingarm, works rear shock, extended rear axle, 300r cylinder, ugly pipe (IMO), homemade engine brackets, 200x front forks and a homemade intake that looks like it flows ~.02 CFM. I am sure their are some other nuances I missed.

Oh and that clutch cover....agree with man bear.....WTF

Frame is not OEM. its formatted for 82. I think i remember seeing that MTC made a 250R frame. this may be one. OR some VERY talented fabricator made it. Either way, its really cool, just not a Nicholson as the ad claims

    -83/84 250R front end
-As Yaeger stated, ugly ass pipe
    -intake: ridiculous
-modded shifter to fit around the modded clutch cover. maybe a lockout clutch?
    -chromed PK looking swinger
    -aftermarket coil
    -motor mounts are OEM (chromed)

He changed his description in the ad.Shifter looks like a 83-84 250r.With that piston in it if the stroke is stock puts it around 370 cc.

Everyone seems to be knocking it but I think it's super cool. (For what it's worth) Looks like mods that would of been done in the hay day. Yea the pipe could be a hand tuned and rolled pipe but so what? It's a unique bike, I haven't seen a first gen like it. It's kinda like trying to sell a custom chopper that's built to one guys taste, it's not for everyone and whoever buys it is going to change it to their liking anyways and paint over those stupid flames or skulls you put on it.

I bet it's a blast to ride either way, that's what 3 wheelin' is all about. It's a good feelin'.

Now about that price tag, that's something to snicker about.
