air cage for a 1986 250r oem

Hello all, I am a new member (Joel) and have a question about the air cage for the 250r's....I have a super clean 250 that needs one but a friend told me that the 85' and 86' are the same only different in the OEM number, I have looked up the HA2 numbers but they are different as the 85 part no. 17211-ha2-003 and the 86 is part no. 17211-ha2-670 does this matter when mounting it in the air box? Any help clearing this up would be greatly appreciated and if anyone knows where to find one that would be awesome! Thank you and its great to be on 3wheeler world! Joel

So then It would be safe to say that the air cage for the 85' and 86' 250r's will fit both regardless of the 2 different manufacture numbers.....
