Welcome to the madness...the 74 looks to have a good base to begin with, not original tires/wheels looks like adapter plates used, would of had balloon tires. The 84 is real clean!

Yeah the guy we got it from said it had been in his family since new and they put thoes tires on it when he was a kid. They probably threw the ballon tires in the trash.Originally Posted by HairyJR

The 74 definitely has good bones as hairy said. At least the seat brackets appear to be there. Ditch thoses for some chen sing 2 ply knobbies and save your body!
