Thought I would give this a bump. Back in 2010 my old band had the pleasure playing at the Satyricon. A place where many a famous bands have played and started their careers (we didn't lol). The place where Courtney met Kurt. Legend of a place. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satyricon_(nightclub) We knew we were in for a good crowd when we noticed a large chunk of hair on a sharp tack/nail in the center pillar of the front floor area. No doubt the result of an errant body checking mosh pit move! Unfortunately the camera our friend was using was absolutely terrible at picking up audio (terrible). We were in the middle of our prog/hardcore/melodic/scream phase. I don't expect any of you to sit through listening to this mess but I just thought I would share

Hey ez, I saw your video above just now as I was looking up your thread to ask you if you ever found the second vid you mentioned. I see you got a little singin in there near the end as well. Very cool. It motivated me make another video, which probably wasn't a good idea since it's about as sloppy as the other two I posted. Perhaps a little practice after not playing for 20 years might not hurt me.

Anyway, I think the more hammared one is, the better all mine will sound.

Without any further delay...here's another one of barnetts fine examples of how not to play the geetar.

Well I figured I'd bump this thread AGAIN with yet another example of barnetts musical stylings, still hoping that ezmoney will finally get tired of my videos and finally post another one like said he would...but maybe since he's a drummer he lacks the stamina to do that.

Here we have a little Heartbreaker by Grand Funk RR done barnett style to a bass and keyboard backing track. This is still with my new Ebay special $60.00 Roland amp cuz I ain't had time to get my Band Master fixed yet but I will hopefully be working on that pretty soon. I had a hair too much reverb on this and made 2 small mistakes, but....fluk it.

Sorry, I've really been slacking on this update! Here is a video of our band Through the Sky! We had the pleasure of opening up for the band Helmet this summer at a local event called the Melomane Festival. The founding member/guitarist/vocalist Page Hamilton was raised here in Medford.

Got to drink beer, get autographs and mingle after the show. Then ran into them and bought them a round at a pub.
It was 107 degrees when we took the stage so it wasn't our most enthusiastic performance but quite the experience never the less. Our singer and bass player had prior arrangements and made it to the show with minutes to spare breaking some speed limits in said bass players Camaro SS Check out that drum roll at 1:08 lol.

We also played a "battle of the bands" at one of our local fairs-we didn't place last year. We were up against some serious competition once again and just like last year we knew going in who the winner would be (not us). But we were glad to get second place because we are good friends with the winning band Hardway Bend! It was a few degrees cooler at this show since the sun had gone down.
We definitely had a blast........ Now reviewing the video I see I broke a stick at 2:08 and had to make a recovery! Also got to make a little disabled girls night by giving her my sticks......... But I got stood up on the high five..... Oh well. This is once again "Lead to Waste" by Through the Sky!

    And the song "Simple Release"
    https://youtu.be/5wAgtCLVrQE

We tend to play these mellower songs when we have a limited amount of time in order to possibly reach a larger audience? I don't know...... We have some very good (IMO) heavy material that I can hopefully share soon!

Since no one asked for it here is the song "Good Gone Bad" we played at a random weed festival last year. Our singer tends to thrive in at these outdoor events. I think he kills it with the extra reverb
