    250es BR riding double?

Hello everyone. Huge fan of the website, I've never posted much but I've been an onlooker for awhile now. I have a few atc's of my own and currently fixing up my 85 250es for some summer riding. I'm curious if anyone has ever installed a buddy seat on the rear of their big red for some putting around the trails with a passenger. I looked it over and I think the passengers weight would be right above the rear tires. My girlfriend plus a seat so we would be talking around 150lbs. What do you guys think, her and I both love 3 wheelers and we would much rather use the big red then buying a utility wheeler. Thanks in advance for advice.

You'd have to make sure she's above/a little in front of the axle. It doesn't take much to take a lot off the front, I'm 180, and with my 220+ buddy driving we can still bring the front tire up.

People ride double all the time, no problem at all. Someone asked about passenger pegs recently and I tried to find the best two-up Big Red picture I've ever seen so I could post it for him but I was unable to locate it.

These were on a fourtrax I just bought, simple but seems like they'd work well

Thanks for the advice! I like the idea for the motorcycle foot pegs 3 wheel Drive. I was thinking about making an adjustable stirrup type of setup but it like that much better. Hublake, I bought her a 250sx to ride, but when she has to drive all she wants to take is the 350x haha I can't keep her off it.

We have had 3 people on our ATCs before, no rear seat. It kinda hurts over the bumpy ground though. We carried 2 all the time. I was thinking of making something like this, that bolted on to the rear rack "door". Attached a pic, also some better pics on the link.

I had something similar I used to sit on on the back of my buddy's 350 fortrax. Worked a lot better then sitting on the rack haha. But I figure a one up seat would work pretty well as long as it's positioned right anyway haha

Just to say it for reference but if you ride doubles in California and your bike wasn't designed like that from the factory your definitely getting a ticket and your bike impounded. Check your local laws before doing this. Also buy her her own bike.
