Is it too soon lol? Been searching and haven't found what I'm looking for so I will just throw this out there. I have a 1985 250SX that I wanting aluminum wheels on. I determined that the stock wheels were 8x9 (8 dia by 9 wide). I wanted to go 9 inch rims all the way around and ordered some AMS 9x9 (3+6 offset) that ended up being too wide on the non brake side. Measuring the front wheel looks like a 3.5 +5 (where'd the other half inch go...?). So after a bunch more research, I got dennis kirk saying the offset is 3.5x5 (right on, my ruler is calibrated). Then i got this http://www.hardimanatv.com/Honda%20W...plications.pdf saying it's 4+5 and DWT's 3+5 wheel will work (which would be way off center right, cause people here have tried that right?). I found that DWT makes a blue label wheel 9x9, 4+5 offset in 4/110, part number 006-09. Drumroll please: Has anyone used this wheel on the front of a 250sx, and if so how far off was it from center. Common sense would tell me that it would be .5 inch closer to the brake fork leg. And even if it is, you could move some spacer from the non brake side to the brake side right?
