    Banshee Reed Block in Tri-Z

I'm really impressed with the RAD valve on my 250R so I'm thinking about getting one for my Tri-Z. Did Boyesen ever made a RAD valve for the Z? Or, if not, does anyone know if the Banshee manifold will work with the Tri-Z. It looks like the Banshee has the same 4 bolt manifold but I'm not sure if it has the same dimensions. I know Boyesen makes a RAD valve for the Banshee, so I'm thinking it might work with the Z.

I might be wrong on the yz250 block but the banshee and tri z part numbers are almost identical

The problem with the YZ is that it comes off the cylinder at an angle, like almost every motocross bike. The challenge is to find a RAD valve that comes straight back and has the right bolt pattern. The KX 125 (05-06) has the right bolt pattern but it comes off at an angle. I think the Yamaha WR 250 is the same. The Banshee comes straight back and has the 4 bolt pattern, but I'm just not sure about the dimensions. The part numbers for the gaskets aren't the same, so it doesn't look good.

I thought you were just looking for the Reed block and not the boot.

The Boyesen RAD valve includes the reeds and the manifold--made of aluminum--so it has to be angled correctly.

Thanks, that's what I was beginning to suspect. I'm going to continue to look into it. I may call Boyesen and see if they can help.

This is the reed cage gasket, Partzilla shows all the yanahas that it fits. You'll have to do some research as to what has the same angle, but at least you'll know what nachines have the same bolt pattern.

I have another Reed question. On an older post shows you running the v force in your z is this the 06 kx125 setup because the 89-96 yz250 vforce does fit in the z
