New member have a couple of questions.

Hey everyone. My name is chase. I just recently picked up a 83 250r. And it had a couple of things that needed to be fixed. There was a leak at the head gasket so I got a I picked up a top end gasket kit on eBay. And I noticed that the head gasket that came was for a stock 250r that has 6 head bolts and mine 250r has 7 head bolts. Does this mean that it is the 300? I measured the piston and it measured 76mm. And if it is the 300. Where would I find at piston and ring set. I looked all over eBay and the closest thing I could find was a 73.75mm set. Any help is much appreciated.

Yes hondaline 300 heads have 7 head bolts instead of 6. not sure where you could find a piston and ring set though, maybe just keep an eye out on ebay.

Honda discontinued the kit so not sure how difficult it would be to find

Got another question. On my trike 83 atc250r with the hondaline 300 kit and I'm looking for a top end kit. I fond a big bore kit for a 85-86. Will this work or is this kit for and liquid cooled atc?

85-86 were liquid cooled totally different engine and will not work.

Hello again. So I found a 13105-964-820 piston. It says it will fix my 300r and a set of rings 130A5-964-810. Will these work if I bore 1.00 over?
