85 250sx brake drum cam is frozen

My buddy also has an 85 sx same as mine. When I got mine i thought the rear brakes were terrible. Kept sticking on me till I cleaned them and replaced the shoes. My cam was a little tight but worked it back to par with penetrating oil. Well my buddy's turns out to be terrible lol. Hardly moves at all, only will move with vice grips on the cam paddle or tapping a on the lever up and down for the brake pedal. My question is how hard will it be to remove that cam to grease it? Or will it be possible at all? Thanks

Very simple. Soak it, heat it, carefully pound it back out ,emery cloth and grease, brand new again. Look at the timing marks on the back of it where the brake adjuster bolts on. Make sure to time it right when it goes back together. Very popular problem...
