    Another newb!

    Hello all!

I am new to 3ww and fairly new to the 3 wheeler game entirely, but I absolutely have fallen in love with them! I currently have a '83 110 and a '85 125m which I am currently getting in running order hopefully within a week or 2. Going to be using the 125m mostly for mud, little hills and rough trails.....its gonna be my beater for all the "I bet that little thing cant do that!" things.

Has anybody personally used a 110/125 for mud and water? If so, do they hold their own for little engines? So far I have been surprised by the 110's abilities and I haven't been rough on it because it is for my son/wife to ride (it's in nice condition and has the blue plastics in good shape). If anybody wants any additional info bout me check my profile! Thanks!

The 110/125's can hold their own especially with the hi/lo sub-transmission. I've climbed some impressive hills on my '85 125m in low range. The one thing you have to watch out for on the 125's is the shift drum stopper will break and it will miss shift, not engage certain gears or fall out of gear.

I used to ride an 84 125m. That's what I learned to go "off roading" on. I learned how to climb hills, weave around trees, and also how to run over your own foot on it. If I could find one for a decent price, I'd definitely buy it.

Yeah I have read a few threads with this problem so I hope my 125m won't have that issue....at least not too soon. I heard they have a stronger replacement stopped but I haven't seen it for myself yet.

If it does happen its a 20-30 minute job that costs about $30 if you have to buy the clutch nut socket, you will also definitely need an impact driver as well

That wouldn't be too bad then! I got that. I'm just ready to romp on this wheeler and see what it can do!

'85 125m (just need a couple things to have it romping)
