    Yard work

I just thought I'd share a picture of me getting ready to spray my yard this morning. Not as much fun as trail riding, but this was still WAY better than using my mower. Any body else use their trikes for yard work?Click image for larger version.

I just picked up a sprayer for mine, getting ready for the yard and some pasture, oh what fun.

I thought about a sprayer for the rear rack, but I was worried about the extra weight over the rear end.

Did some trimming around some trees and in the orchard the other day. Used the ATC200E and bush buggy trailer.

Isn't it amazing how these "useless" toys still get put to work?

Useless toys!?!?! No way, that 200E would get used almost daily. Never heard anyone call them that. Dangerous and unsafe and all that yes but never useless toys.

But I know what you mean, neat to see the older stuff going while everyone thinking they need a new 1000cc quad and side by side.

When I had my KLT going, I force fitted a rack on the back. Never figured out it's limits, but I've had well over 500 lb on it in concrete+me. 'Went slow and steady of course. That thing is a tank, an old beat up tank. lol

BarnBoy, that's why I had quotes around the word useless, to show sarcasm. I'm sure most of the people who "need" a 1000cc quad or sxs would look down on our trikes and see them as useless. the only guy I know who owns a 1000cc sxs scoffed at me when I was putting new tires on the back of my autox. He bragged "I've never had to change a tire on one of four wheelers!" I told him that the rear tires on his 2004 Kodiak were getting down there on tread and he'd better trade it in. Either that or he doesn't ride much. I'm sure he looks down on my toys as being "too old". Of course he was the same guy that was shocked at what I could do on my 250SX up in the mountains when we went to Colorado a couple of years ago.

350, yes I know what you meant. I was just remarking that I had never heard them called that by anybody before. Sorry if it sounded like I took your statement literally.

Smoothing out the ruts with a bed spring.
Works good for clean up, too.

Trikes are cool, no doubt about it!!!!!

Thanks. I thought that's what it was called at first, but technically it's far from a 'true restore'. It was our first father-son project.

Father-son project. Now I get it. I was going to say that you're an awfully youthful looking fellow!

    Yard work

350for350, your sprayer looks real handy. Do you have to stop to spray? Im thinking about finding one. The guys here can't get their truck up some places to get the knap weed. Big red can do it. I'd need a smaller one, but I like yours.
    Here's from last month:

It sure helps the tractor-a lot! Easier and much more fun to operate, too!!
Oh ya, it goes places no other machine here, has been.
