    Need help with 200x rebuild

Hey been a member for a bit and followed here and there over few years but never posted. I have a project I a gonna start but need help. The motor of choice is a 200x and I just picked up a 84 200x more or less basket case. Guy swears it's all there in 2 buckets and I got frame with bits. Only thing missing is carb and handle bar controls. He said and pointed to the spun bearing. It's the connecting rod/crank bearing. Cylinder looks good. Haven't got a chance to go through all the bits and don't really wanna split case before knowing more info. Thought on rebuild kit or should I just focus on the beating and address what's there as I find more? I can't find rebuild kits or even the solo bearing. I have money but I'm also married so I kinda don't. I don't want a power house, just get it back to running. Is there a better/cheaper easier to find carb than the 200x? Like xr, xl, 200s carb? I have a 85 250sx that runs great with a cobra exhaust if any someplace stiff from that can help to run the 200. Like carb and missing electronics. Just so I know it runs fine then buy the parts it needs. Manuals also seem hard to find. Tons of 86+ manuals.

I think all 200's (except maybe the 200es) have the same rod bearing, so just keep an eye out on ebay. xr200 carbs fit and ad a little power 200s carbs will let it run but not well. I don't think any 250sx parts will work since they are completely different machines.

Yea I knew the top of ends swapped nicely. 185,200 that is. Carb seemed hard to find stock and not Chinese for 200x so maybe I try to find xr200 one. I just didn't know if they changed in size so I should stick to certain year range beside the 84-85 dual thing. This entire project is for a 1990 cr80 that had bad bearing and needed rebuild so I picked it up cheap. I'm a trail rider and an adult. But a 200 4 stroke in a cr80 with 10" front and back travel at hopefully 175lbs sounds like a fun toy.

I'm not sure I believe they are both 192cc and they both have 65mm pistons so they most likely have the same stroke but it may just be certain years of the xr
