200x conversion WEST COAST SWING ARM 250$$

    https://inlandempire.craigslist.org/...228729710.html
Check closely the second picture. This is a 200x conversion with a west coast swing arm! If I had a 200x I'd buy it for just that and part the rest of it. If your in so cal or close to it I'd think that swinger would be worth the 250 alone.

Might be a DG with the plate removed or a cobra. Not a bassani or bills. Never seen a sparks so I wouldn't know. But damn that would be a sweeeeeet find if it was. I'm so tempted to go get it but have no where to hide it from the wife. Lol. Might be a sparks. Just googled a couple pics. Like I said if you have a 200x or are gonna build one this is a great parts bike. Just for the swinger even.

Saw on Saturday and called him, was thinking the same as you Shawn, swing arm alone worth the price. I'm not in the business of selling stuff and don't need another project. Could be wrong but the pipe looks like the Bill's pipe I had on my 83 200x along with the same swing arm.

I usually buy it at sellers asking price.I bought a first gen 250r Works triple rate rear shock for $100.I bought a Bassani head pipe for 85-86 250r for $50 both sellers thought they were stock.

Tried to explain to the mrs I could part this thing and make a grand. She stated my list of home projects I need to complete before I buy any more bikes. Also she stated she knows I want a 200x and that she knows I would just take off all the parts I want and save them for myself. She knows me so well. Must be love.

Looks like someone got the treasure. Hopefully they saw what we saw and restore those parts and put em back on three wheels.

Hairy glad you posted pics before the ad was removed.
Word to the wise. If it seems like a good deal then usually it is. I would have been all on that if it was in my back yard.
IIRC Curtis used Bills pipes for his pipes.

Bill I thought the same thing, the normal practice back in the day was to put go fast parts in the motor then suspension stuff came last. Some one invested a small chunk of change building it. Passed on the purchase as my son and I where buying a nice Red US90, for a real good price. Guy stiffed us last night, when we showed up at the scheduled time he had already sold it to another guy for twice the asking price, man we were mad, can't type the words I used and the buyer is lucky he wasn't there.
