    200x tachometer

    I am just wondering but has anyone put a tachometer on a 84 200x to know how high their engine is revving while they are riding?

    When I had my 200Xs, the answer was always "A lot". I spun the piss out of them.

    I tried one of these on my Tecate but could not get it to work. Did not work on my lawnmower either so I assume it's bad.

    I ordered another. $7 is cheaper than returning the red one.

    If it doesn't work, I'll try one of these.

    They all "should" work.

    I have used these before with good results on 4 stroke Honda trikes.
    RPM's don't fall off quite as quick as the Hondaline tachs,,, but still very acceptable and easy to read.
