    Weekend Ride Pics

A couple of pics from camping this past weekend. We took out two 70's and the Tri-X-Side to trail ride and pick blueberries. Our favorite patch is a 40 minute ride each way from the campsite which consisted of rutted up bush roads with some mud thrown in for fun. I also built a trailer for the Tri-X-Side to haul our paddle boat around which we went Walley fishing in.

I envy you, being able to go and pick wild blueberries and catch a few pickerel. Can't beat either one. Do you cook the fish at camp over a camp fire?

The only way to eat pickerel is poached, lol! Our genious biologists have closed this lake stating a "collapsed" fishery; even though it's not uncommon to catch 50-80 a day with the average size at 3-5 lbs and even up to 8 lbs'ers caught . Its a very healthy lake. My guess is they want to make this a tag only lake to get more money out of us. My largest pike out of here was 36" long and caught out of the paddleboat too, what a ride!

Awesome pics, Pete - thanks for posting - always enjoy viewing them. Excellent way to make memories with the family. Walleye fillets are the "BEST".
