I've been having a hard time getting spark to my 79 110. I am down to it either being the stator or the coil. I am thinking that it would be much easier to find a replacement coil than a stator, so with that what readily available coil would work for a replacement? Anyone have any experience with a replacement? is it just a 6vdc coil?
That brings me to my next question, what should the stator output be AC or DC?
