    250r Inverted forks

Hi all, joined the forum to get more information about inverted fork swaps. Does anyone still make the triple trees?

I may be totally wrong on the name, but I believe that it's JasonB. I'm not sure if he ever made them for the 350X or if he could or would be interested. You could ask though.

From what I saw everyone was pretty much getting them from Jason Hall but he hasn't been on the site in a year.

He's done them. Recently even. I've reached out here and Facebook. No response. I'm happy with my emulators for now. But I'd like to have a set stashed in the shed for a one day project.

I am new to the site and also looking to do the swap to inverts on my 85 350x. From what I have read out there, a lot of people use KTM 85 forks. I have the forks, just need the triple trees, hub, etc. if anyone finds someone making these, count me in for a set.

There are a few guys making them but they about $700 just for the triples. Then if you use the ktm 85 forks they need re-valving and springs, so another couple hundred. Then you still got to deal with the brakes. And you should really get the 350x frame gusseted also, as the inverts put a bit more stress on the frame. A lot of people say the 350x frame will not be strong enough for inverts, but they are, as long as they have gussets on them.

Thanks for the info Bob! I already have the forks, I just need to find someone making the triples. I have read Jason hall used to make a set that came with the hub you would need as well as the front axle. I Know some people say the frame isn't strong enough as well and others say that is bs. Would the frame gusset kit offered by TPC Trikes be sufficient? I was planning on gussetting the frame, as I am a pretty big guy, 6'3 250lb.

Whats the point of custom triples if you are going to use the KTM 85 forks? couldn't you use the vtx1800 instead? Thought customs were for using cr125 forks since the ktm 85s can't have a stiff enough spring for heavier people?

Racetech makes springs for them stiff enough for the trike/200+ lb rider. Point would be larger forks and adjustability.

Ok didn't think racetech made heavy enough springs for them but I looks like they do. But why custom triples and not vtx1800 triples with some shims?

    Here's another 350X gusset kit option: http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthr...0x-gusset-kits

Matt's gussets look to be a lot better than the TPC ones. I have the TPC gussets on one of my 350x's and although they do the job they are not as nice as the ones Matt was selling, plus TPC can be hard to deal with at times.
