I have an all original 1982 atc 200e that does not have the handle bar cover and I am curious if all 200 big reds had them or just 83 and 84. The dash has no holes for the cover to mount to and has a raised lettered honda on it and doesn't appear to have been changed.

The 200e and 200es handlebar covers are the same, and maybe the 125m? not sure though
1985 ATC125M: Parts
1985 ATC200S: 84 200S Bottem end, 200x Head, 200x Carb, S&S Cycle Exhaust, Wiseco 10.25:1 Piston, Reground Cam with About 1mm more lift(unknown specs).

The 1982 200E's I have do not have the dash cover. I believe they started on the 1983 200E's. I checked the BIG RED brochures from 1982 and I do not see the dash covers. See link.

Looking on partzilla the 1982 and 1983 200E top handlebar clampsare different part numbers.
As 125Mmadness said above the top handlebar clamps can be used for the 1982, 1983, and 1984 BIG REDS but the 1982 part will not have the bosses and threaded holes.
