I have been looking around for a mid-grade smoker. I had a price in mind. (under 300 bucks Canadian) I looked at a bunch of reviews and decided to go with a propane model. My choice.
I have a cheap electric model that I used for a couple of years in the summer. It was only good in the summer. Very thin walled. I think I payed 70 bucks for it...

I picked up this Master Forge unit. I think it will suit me well. Again it is mid-grade and did not break the bank.

What is everyone else using? I think I will see some custom stuff.
Sorry. I am lazy. Turn your phone 90 degrees. LOL

    Nice!

A Traeger will be my next one.....or something like it. Problem is I don't take care of them.....just use them and leave them. Then like glamy said....all the varmints get in them and they go bad, rust, etc. When I dump the kinda money a Traeger costs I'll take care of it.

Ya. Had some mice get into my old electric unit... I put it in my garage. 20X20 separate from the house. Since then I keep it beside my BBQ. I don't have room on my back deck for my BBQ and smoker. I will figure something out.

I also have a good BBQ. Napolean 3 burner main grill plus a side burner and rear burner. I don't use the oven much. LOL I BBQ all year. I never put my cover on.

I used an old charcoal smoker for years. I finally upgraded to an electric cabinet smoker. I love It. So much simpler and consistent. My favorite thing to make is scotch eggs.

This is my future smoker, broiler, Turkey burnin', back strap roastin', pork loin scortchin', double burner, indirect heat smokehouse.
When I quit fiddling with other stuff.
