    I guess I'm building a auto 200x

Ok so I went trail riding with my buddy last weekend on my atc 185 and it beat the crap out of me. I have been looking for an engine to put in my 200x frame that I bought after riding my other buddy’s 200x. I thought what the heck why not use the engine in my 185. Now I have a engine sitting on my 200x frame I can't believe it's going to bolt right in.

I guess I'm making good progress sense I started this project on Monday. My first goal is to get the 185 engine running in the 200x frame. Then I'm going to attend to the swing arm, forks, breaks, and other stuff as needed. If any one who has built one of these let me know if there are any bumps in the road

This is a pretty simple swap. You will need a 200x intake manifold. I built my auto X 10 years ago using the 185s motor. The 200x motor mounts make it a bolt in deal. I used the 185s front mounts and drilled new holes in them the frame came without the front mounts. I shimmed the left footpeg to clear the shifter. I used a 230 Quadsport rear brake pedal and 82 250r rear master cylinder for rear brakes. I had a thought of getting a left had master cylinder from a quad and having both hand brakes. I was thinking of just having a rear foot brake and no front brake. It looks like its a simple swap the hardest part is working on my darn trailer. I haven't looked at the wiring yet, but is there any differences. Does any one have any suggestions of what exhaust to get?

I have made a little progress. I took my wiring harness off my 185 and put it on my 200x frame and I'm going to use the round head light off the 185. I also ordered a 200x intake manifold because the 185 would not work. I'm trying to make my dg exhaust off the 185 work and it looks like it might work if I make a bracket for it. I'll add some photos tomorrow.
