    new from Germany

Hi, my name is Ralf and i am from Germany. 45 years old.
when i was a kid my father was a carpenter and we lived in Saudi Arabia. we had Atc 70, 110, 185 and a Fl 250. in 1983 he bought a 250r. we sold it to a friend when we had to leave the county in 1988. almost 30 years later the Atc 250r`83 is back at my house.
He took it to germany and had it in a barn for 25 years. ten weeks ago the guy i sold it to in 1988 gave it back to me for free! now i took it all appart and will make it as good as new.
there are no parts for the 250r in germany, i´ll have to order parts in the US.
    sorry for the bad english...

i do have pics of it but have to wait till my girlfriend is back from work. after 25 years of not doing anything to the 250 almost every thing is rusty or broken on it.
the engine turns over and has compression. i have to take a look inside the motor before i try to start it. found a dealer in the Us who shipped new fenders and seals for the forks and brakes.

Iam sure you will get it up and running with some work and time. I know it sucks getting parts from the USA, I got lots of parts for my 84 250r from eBay. Costs so much for shipping but nothing you can do if you need the parts.

maybe it looks better on the pics but it is in very bad condition. but i will take time and lots of work and money to make it happen. just gave the frame away today, get sandblasted and powdercoating.
