I should be able to get down there sometime Wednesday, I just have to check with the Mrs. to see what we've got going on. I'll get back to you with a more specific time. Where abouts are you located in Carthage?

Likewise Darrell, it was nice to talk trikes for a while. You were right, the smaller insulator is the one I needed. Thanks again.

I put some Seal All on the gas tank it doesn't leak now. Also put the fenders on I got from Jason .I swapped out the oem bent axle for a straight 83 250r axle and took it for a ride .Overall it rides nice and handles well. But the clutch is slipping and the carb is still spitting out gas.I put new carb kit in I will figure that out. Im going to order new clutch kit and I need to find a rear brake setup. And I need to contact Rad about a bearing carrier. Click image for larger version.

I'll check the garage, I might have a working rear caliper. The e-brake arm is broken/missing, but I think the caliper works.

WOW! Whoever owned it before snapped that carrier flange off pretty good! People need to grease the carriers up and get them moving first. Just make sure RAD gives you a good one, not a 2nd. They sold a buddy one with the holes drilled so far offset that once drilled the holes went thru the side of the carrier! AND, they wouldn't make good on it, they wanted it back before giving him a "good" one. He had waited a couple months already and wanted to ride, it worked, but I'm not sure how it all worked out in the end. When made correctly, the RAD carrier is very nice with double wide bearings and it's anodized, and no one else makes one for the 200X so there's that lol... There's a brand new 83/84 250R carrier kickin around, I always wondered if it would slide in an 83/84 250R, I should ask Lane, he has his 84 torn down I believe...
