Nice score Good luck bringing it back! IMO it's the "Buddy trike" as in anybody can ride it and have a great time on it. Not over powering handles great light weight good stock suspension. There were some discontinued rear red just sold cheap. I checked the site and they were sold...someone here picked em up fo-sure. https://maier-mfg.com/11981-honda-at...ar-fender.html

I will check out the Maier site for those rear fenders. I have a set of 88 trx 250r rear fenders for it.The clutch needs a little work doesn't have much pull to disengage it .I put a new cable on it.I changed the front fender, tank scoops, and kill switch I have a new seat cover aswell. Tank needs painting rear subframe at the grab bar needs straightning, whole rear brake is missing and the rear carrier has a chunk missing where the adjustment holes are.I want to fix it up for trail riding. I have 2 other 200xs 1.84 and 1.83 auto x plus my 88 Quadsport. and 3 250rs.. This is what it looked like when I picked it up first pic.

Good find, I just got one in poorer condition for $160.
I'd have bought that one.

Iv been working on this and a 84 250r frame over past few weeks.Im only working at my job for 2 hours aday but getting paid for 8 hours.I figured out the clutch problems. One was the fins on clutch basket were grooved .2nd was someone put lock washers under the springs wich cause it to not have much pull to disengage.3rd 2 of the metal plates were together .I put a good set of friction plates in and filed the grooves down.Clutch has good smooth feel. Need to fix a leak in the tank so I can test drive it.

I started working on this trike again.I put a new carb kit and clutch springs in it.Starts and runs well but the fuel tank is leaking again where I soldered it.I drained it and left the cap off so I can prep it for soldering again. After 32 1/2 years of work I retired on December 31st lastyear.Im going to spend more time on my trikes and home improvement projects.

I soldered the tank on this again and it started leaking again. I'm going to try brazing it next hopefully that will do the trick.I need to get a bearing carrier for it and rear fenders.

IDK if you can learn anything from my experience but: When I tried brazing the same tank (not that it matters) it just kept cracking. I kept the heat as low as possible when fast high heat would get too hot too fast. I used brazing rods with flux on the rod itself. For some reason the tank not only had some tiny holes, it had some cracked areas, and they just kept extending as I braised it. When I did this it was for the 20 day Trikefest historic build and it was the day the guys were leaving, I was braising until they pulled in my yard, it was all I had for a tank or all that effort was a waste of time. If I had drilled a hole in the end of each crack it would look like a pin cushion, it's possible I just overlooked something, that was either 2005 or 2008.
Honestly, I was gonna try silver solder if I ever did another but if you didn't have much success IDK if I will either but I wanted to share my braising adventure....
RAD Manufacturing is back operating and he makes a new billet carrier for the 86/87 (I dealt with them thru Facebook). He told me they'd be 200$ but I think he's a bit higher now, fortunately I still have a couple NOS and used ones kicking around. Somebody could modify an existing CNC program easily to reproduce that carrier...
All our government does is distract us while they steal from us, misspend our tax $ and ruin our country
I watched a video of a guy soldering a motorcycle gas tank using a soldering iron it worked well.I may try that or liquid steel.Last measure would be some sort of tank liner.

Can't help with the tank or the carrier, but I do have the fenders that came on my 87. Not sure what you're looking for, they a little rough around the edges (literally, lol) but if they're anything you'd be interested in just let me know.
Thought I had some pics on my tablet but I must have deleted them . . . I'll try to snap a couple tomorrow if you want?
