'83-'85 200x rear caliper work on a 84 R?

I just picked up a full rear brake system for the 250r. Master, caliper, hose. Couldn't pass up the deal. Brand new. Anyways, I haven't really looked into it yet but it looks like I might need to make a bracket made for it to work. Either that or I just use my front one and say hell with front breaks for now. Probably won't work huh? And I also need a break stay because mine it toast.

Hi, i bought a 85 rear caliper from the x. it looks like if it was 100% a mirror image. it is the other way around. i put the 83 250r mounting bracket on but have to put the atc back together to see if it fit into it. the front 200x caliper schould fit the 250r in the back.

Yeah I have the break stay but no mount. I might be able to have someone make one. Or I can figure it out. I don't believe its a floating break correct? At least I got my master and ressy. Really thinking about putting the front R break on the back. Then look for a cheap 200x-250r caliper. I need brakes. Now.

the front will work on the back, same caliper without the parking brake. but you need the mounting bracket for the back.

You need a bracket like this for 83-84 250r .
