Wondering if the 200 and the big red can be ran wide open

Not a new member but first time post. I added a 81
200 to my collection to use for trail riding. My question
Is can they Handel being ran wide open on the
Trails for certain amount of time or will it shorten
The life of the motor. Thanks for any replys

Never a good idea to run wide open for to long but in the stock form I don’t think your going to hurt it .

I own 2 Honda 200x models completely restored.
Only reason for the 200 I bought is to haul gear
Back to are bear stands and don't own a 4 wheeler.
I'm assuming the 200 does about 45 just didn't no
If it was hard on the engine running it wide open.

There's NO WAY you should attempt to run it wide open for anywhere close to 6 miles. That could damage your engine. Some may say that it's ok, but I wouldn't do it for more than a mile. Even that would make me a little nervous.
