200x starting issues!

Hey there,
Looking for some help, as I'm at my wits ends. I've got an 85 200x. The kick start was slipping, so I had the motor gone through, replacing any worn parts and new kick start gears and spring. Also had carb rebuilt. Ended up completely restoring Machine as it was apart. Since I got the motor and carb back, it is a bear to start. I'm talking like 50 kicks to get it going! When it does finally start, it runs well. I've got gas, spark, and good compression judging by the force it takes to kick it. Any ideas? Any little things I may have missed? I've been dinking with it for months now. I tried starting it today, to no avail. I've got a ton invested in it, and had all work done by recommended people.

Try starting fluid. If it won’t start on ether then it’s out of time.

When it was running did you ever turn the choke on all the way? Did it quit running by doing so? In otherwords does the choke work? As stated above does it fire with either or gas placed in the spark plug hole?

Definitely not out of time , I built the motor .
I would test the stator first , if that tests ok then it’s in the fine tuning .
Everything has to be just right for the 200x to be an easy starter .
Carburetor air fuel possibly .
