Sorry if this has already been asked a few times, but I have to ask a probably somewhat obvious question:
In your guys' opinion (which I have come to have a lot of respect for), which is the faster DRAG RACING bike:
The Honda 250R or the Honda 350X ATC?
I'm thinking 250R hands down. And in every youtube video the 250R smokes the 350X. However, youtube is also full of a LOT of idiots.
Some day I will own BOTH bikes, but I am just curious.

Yes stock for stock, on pavement, and with both riders of equal skill level (at least for drag racing), and the same weight.
You know, the kind of drag racing where it is ALL about the bike, not the skill or weight of the riders, or the traction of the bike.

I have a wall full of first place trophys that says the 250r stock for stock , Iv beat 350xs,250rs,stock and piped banshees,400exs.

350X against the 1985-1987 liquid cooled 250Rs, is really no contest.
The 350X compares a lot more favorably against first and second generation (81-84) air cooled Rs.
Not saying the 350X is as fast as an air fooler, but it won't get smoked like with the water pumpers.
This is based on watching a dozen years of drag racing at TrikeFest..... not that there are very many truly stock trikes anymore.
Most competitors at least have an aftermarket pipe.

Wow, I just asked the mother of all questions by the sounds
I'm a Kawasaki fan (at least for their dirtbikes.)
Never really owned a Honda. Not saying they are bad, just never really owned one.
I know this much: if the Tecate 250 has the KX250 engine, then its gotta be pretty damn good
