84 big red transfer case problem

There is a crack in the bottom of my transfer case housing and all the oil leaked out. Had it welded, but it cracked in another spot near the original. Has anyone had this problem and how do you fix it? Machine runs well and shifts fine, but, there must be something wrong in the case. The failure is directly under the high-low-reverse lever. Any help would be appreciated.

You may have to replace it.

You might want to check for a cracked frame.
