    Cool bush find

I was walking around in the bush the other day and I stumbled across this old tire. I am pretty sure it is a old rear tire off an early US90. From what I have heard these are fairly rare. Its got the rim molded into the tire, and I think that Honda was one of the only ones that really used that type of tire as far as I know??? I guess it probably has no value now being all cracked but I thought it would be cool to share.

You're right. There's probably no value because of what looks like a good sized hole in the tread in the last picture, but it would be cool to hang onto it just to have.

Never really paid too much attention to this style of tire, until you just mentioned about the rim being molded into the tire...which now begs the question - Can you replace the tire only? Do you have to replace the whole rim/tire unit? Why would Honda have designed it this way?

Nope, cant replace the tire only, and you cant tube it either as far as I know. I have absolutely no clue what it was made this way. Makes no sense to me. Its a Ohtsu tire but I think Honda was the only one who ever used it. I thought I had heard somewhere that some of the really old Argos used them, but I dont know for sure.
