It's a good possibility to get it wired up and have a light working. Do you have a cable and speedo gear? You like kph or mph?

Howw would i go about wiring it up and no id have to find one thats in mph also would need a cable and speedo gear would that be hooked up to the front or back wheels

The only gear I know of hooks to the front. Not even sure if there is one for a 125, but that doesn't mean you can't get a speedometer mounted on yours. Wiring should just be power and ground.Originally Posted by mr-bubble66

The part number you need to mount a speedometer on an 86-87 125M is: 08175-HB600. It comes with the gear box, mounting brackets and cable. I've seen a few pop up on ebay in the past, but nothing in the last couple years.
