    '84 250R rear shock rebuild

    Hey Guys,

So I'm overhauling my air fooler and the rear shock is missing the bump stop and has a few problems as you can see in the pics. I want to get it rebuilt so what are my options? I saw an 83 model rear shock on ebay for $525 USD plus shipping that had been fully rebuilt, will the 83 one fit my 84?

I'm in Australia and a mate here suggested getting it mine sent to the states for rebuild might be my best option. I will hunt around locally first to try find someone that will rebuild it and be able to source the parts but just want some insight to my options. Cheers

I use a guy in Illinois that’s pretty darn good. He actually just finished an 83 shock for me. PM me if you are interested.
