    Cool ATC90/110/125M/185/200 Oil Cooler Instructions

I've picked up a couple of oil coolers recently and figured I'd share the instructions on here. the fittings are regular brass fittings and a pit bike oil cooler could be substituted for this that is about 8in long (a 210mm one on Ebay looks like a good one).

Here's a few pictures for a 200x that I've found through Facebook. Basically the same idea as the 185/200. Just the oil galley is in front of the clutch rather than on top

Stick in the mud here, sorry.

Those exposed oil lines look like they are begging to get damaged on a trail or something. Do the benefits really outweigh the risk? Or am I just being overly paranoid?

NOT being argumentative here, I really am curious.

    Thanks

This was my oil cooler mod on an 85 200X I built years ago.

I rode it hard in the woods and creeks most of the time and never had a single issue in two years. The guy who bought it from me still runs it like that too.

How would i go about doing this would i need a new side cover or could i modify mine i have a 200s im currently in the middle of rebuilding and it gets really hot down here in the south and i plan to run the piss out of it high rpms so would feel better if i ran an oil cooler should help everything last longer especially the top end.

Everything is explained in the Lockhart version of the instructions for the 185/200 but you can use both as guides because the oil galley is similar on both. Just in different positions.

Perma-cool still makes an oil cooler for ATV's. Part number is 1008. Probably better than piecing together one with a chinese cooler.
