    Hello from Canada

Just wanted say hey from here in Ontario.

Been using the forum a lot to sort out any issues that have been popping up with my ATC's. So thanks for that, some good knowledge on here.

Here are the trikes I have. 83 Big Red. When I picked it up, and after some TLC. I know the side decals are from an 84, I put those on there just cause I like them. Found the contact for the decals on here come to think of it.

And a ROUGH 1986 250sx that I lucked into and am currently restoring.

Welcome to the site! The Big Red looks great after your restoration. Keep us posted on the progress with the 250SX. Just curious what you paid for the 250SX, seen as you're from Canada as well.

Welcome! Those are some really nice atc's. Its so nice to see there are still people restoring them because usually its some 13 year old beating the hell out of them.

    is that a 83 200e chain drive or 84 200es shaft drive? I can't quite tell.

Welcome. Nice work on the Big Red. I was in Ottawa this summer. Great place to stay and visit.

I see a couple people in Gatineau that sell some ATC stuff. I should have stopped by while I was there... Fortnine.ca has some good pricing on some stuff. I just got my order yesterday. Fast shipping and free shipping over 49 bucks.

Thanks, picked up the SX for $100. Hadn't been ridden in a couple years, guy who sold it hurt his back I think. His wife seemed to want him to get it off their property and I happily helped him out

NICE. Wicked deal. Drop the fuel. Clean the carb. I know they could be a pain to get them out. Manual should be available online.

Hey thanks for the link to the manual. Once I have full access to the forum I might make a thread with the progress I'm making on the SX.

Cleaned the tank and put a carb kit in it and it started right up smoothly. Took her for a couple spins before winter came. Now I'm in full tear down mode.

Tried using vinegar to clean out the rust in the tank. Worked great. I was impressed.

I've done several tanks with the vinegar trick, and it's worked great every time. Usually this is when you'll find a leak from those pin holes that sometimes form at the bottom of the tank. Carb came out nice too. I would be curious to know if you have any problems taking the front axle off when you do the tear down. Apparently they can be a real headache to remove on the 250SX. I haven't tried mine yet, but I'm gonna have to soon as my front tire needs replacing. Not looking forward to it as I'm sure it's going to be a bugger!

Wasn't too bad. The guy I bought it from had new tires put on before it sat. So that could be why I didn't have a problem.
