    85" 250SX tree with 200X forks/wheel?

I want to replace my front suspension on the 250SX but retain the 250SX triple due to custom color front fender. 2 questions if anyone knows, are the fork tubes the same diameter and since the SX tree is wider if anyone has done this what spacers were used for wheel?

Yup, both 33mm, slide it in and run disc brakes!! You would need some custom spacers made.

Many of us can make them for you.....

Same deal but they are about 17mm longer than 83 to 85.

Do I need to get the forks switched out and take measurements or has this been done and details about spacers are already known? If you can make them just pm me details.

Well, you're gonna have to space the rotor out as well if your trying yo center the tire.
The SX is wide and there is a relationship of the caliper center to the edge of the fork leg. So, in order to center the tire somewhat, I'd figure out how to center my tire best I can, yet still keep the caliper within it's range, then cut up some pipe for a spacers and add it next to stock 200X collars...

Good info in that thread. Going to stay the course though, especially since I already have the front end available.

If I can make the right contacts Ill see about getting a few sets of spacers, painted or maybe polished and offer for sale...... I wonder if aluminum or steel or stainless would be best....? I'm actually a lil surprised that someone hasn't done it yet. Well hold my beer cause I'm workin on it!!
