    Barn Find.... 30+ Years Untouched

    Never left the 3 wheeler scene as I still have my 84' DX.... but just added back to the collection. Thought I'd share with you all my find.

    Came across an ad online of not one but two untouched, Yamaha 225's stored covered in a barn for 30+ years. Original owner bought both brand new and put under 10 hours on each. They were barely ridden and parked as to no shown interest from her kids back in 84.

    Covered in dust/dirt all original down to the decals on the plastics. Original tires with the green marker around the rubber.

    Attached are some photos as they were taken for their first day light in 30+ years.

    What do you all think??

    Nice. Why can't I find anything like that? It was pretty much Honda country here but there were a couple of Yamahas and I remember one guy having a Tecate. Thanks for the pics.

    Those kids missed out on a ton of fun...super solid machines, trail, mud, closed intake for river crossings. Those are goons be some happy tri moto's soon enough. Love a good barn find !
