    Elvis was a gearhead....uh-huh!
    Racing cars and boats movies....uh-huh!

    There was a dirt sprint car driver in the Memphis area named Clarence "Hooker" Hood that raced for a loooooong time. He had a picture on his wall with him and Elvis at Hooker's shop. The joke going around was that Hooker Hood didn't know Elvis........Elvis knew Hooker Hood.

    Hooker Hood is a Legend. I can remember as a kid going to stock car races with my father and brother just to watch Hooker run his sprint car in West Memphis and Jackson Tennessee.
